A few nice bread images I found:
Bread animals FW 7-19-11

Some bread animals, as made in San Francisco’s famous sourdough bread, by the Boudin Bakery in Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco. Taken by a Nikon D40x with a Nikon 18-55mm VR kit lens. (at 46)
The list of these critters (and other things) I’ve seen: Lobster, Alligator (including a 6 foot specimen, only available at the 8th Ave. location on special order…) Teddy bear, Turtle, (two sizes, a 1 and a ½ pound…) Crab, and a four-leaf clover (only available around St. Patrick’s Day [Mar 17])
Bread alligator

Bread Alligator, as made by Boudin Bakeries of San Francisco, CA – seen in their Fisherman’s Wharf bakery and restaurant. Taken by a Nikon D40x at ISO 400 with an 18-55mm Nikon non-VR kit lens. (at 48)
Boudin also makes bread crabs, (partially visible at the bottom of the shot above) bread lobsters, bread teddy bears, bread turtles, (in two sizes, yet) (small size partly visible on the extreme right) bread 4-leaf clovers (only around St. Patrick’s day…) and may make other critters or objects that I haven’t seen. At one time they made the bread alligator much larger – about a 6 foot long gator! (above is about a 2.5 footer) (added: The six footer is still occasionally available from their 8th Avenue location, I understand – on special order… The Fisherman’s wharf location doesn’t have ovens large enough for it…)
I always wanted to pose a shot with the large bread alligators: "When you are up to your a## in alligators…"
